Cress Kwolek, MSPH; PhD

Licensed Psychologist

Beyond the Miles has truly been a dream for me! It has allowed me to integrate my favorite life roles- being a mom, a clinical psychologist, and a runner! Most of us wear different “hats” as we go through our day. This can be exhausting. It can feel as though you’re not really being your best self in anything that you do! There are ways to feel better. Ways to do better. It all starts with a shift in your mindset.

I earned my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, and moved back to Austin after my residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Since then, I have worked in the area of resilience. I have worked with children, families, first responders, and tech companies. The common thread through all of my work has been mindset. It truly sets the tone for your life, and believe it or not, it is something that you can change.

Margaret Low, MA, RDN, LD

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

I started running long distances in my early 20’s and haven’t looked back! Shortly after discovering my LOVE for running, I became a Registered Dietitian. I am passionate about nutrition and the science behind how food can FUEL our bodies both in day-to-day living and in athletics!

Like Cress, I earned my degrees at UT Austin (hook em’)! I have worked in many areas of nutrition but, can’t seem to get away from sports and family nutrition!

I got my own personal records of 2:58 (marathon) and 1:26 (half marathon) while working and parenting our FOUR sweet and very active young kids!

Join me on my own journey to raising healthy, well fueled, and happy kids while finding a good balance of activity for myself and my family!
